Healing and Sound Workshop
Life is a
healing journey. Everyday we are challenged
physically, mentally, emotionally, and
spiritually. Pranayama, mantra and sound are
tools that support us on our path to
wholeness. Take your yoga asana and
meditation practices to the next level as we
explore healing and sound.

experiential workshop will develop skills in
the following areas:

prana and its healing properties
• Moving
prana to support healing
• Increasing
prana in specific chakras
• Increasing
prana in different parts of the body
• Uncovering
the pranic properties of healing and sound
• Utilizing
sound to clear the energetic bodies
• Exploring
the meaning and healing properties of mantra
About Yvette Pecoraro
Yvette
Pecoraro is a certified
Hatha yoga instructor and an RYT with
Yoga Alliance. She began teaching
yoga/meditation with Kali Ray and
TriYoga and is certified in Basics and
Level 1. She continues to practice and
teach other forms of Hatha yoga among
them Vinyasa.
Yvette has a
B.A. in music and communications. Over
the past decade she has explored the
high vibrational components of sound and
its healing effects on the physical,
subtle, and causal bodies. She has also
delved into the yoga of Bhakti.
Yvette is a Reiki Practitioner,
Numerologist, and
co-founder of
Samadhi Kirtan.
About Curt Woolford
Curt Woolford
has been practicing and teaching yoga
and meditation for over 10 years. He is a
Certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor and an
ERYT with Yoga Alliance. With a B.A. in
Music & Philosophy and an M.A. in
Educational Psychology, Curt brings a deep
awareness of the learning process to his
yoga instruction.
Dedicated to
continually deepening his yoga practice and
teaching effectiveness, Curt studies Kripalu
Yoga at the Kripalu Center, Power Vinyasa
Yoga with Baron Baptiste, and Prana Power
Yoga with Rolf Gates. He also studies
Paramahansa Yogananda’s meditation
techniques through Self Realization
Fellowship. In addition, Curt is fascinated
by yoga pranayama
-
techniques to move and strengthen
bio-electric energy. To this end, he
is also
a student and teacher of Qigong, another
approach to moving life energy.
Curt is
Director of
BodyBender Yoga and
MindMender Meditation. He is also
co-founder of
Samadhi Kirtan.
